Get The Best Computer Music Recording Software For Your Money

Get The Best Computer Music Recording Software For Your Money

As there is a credit crunch, people are looking to get the best computer music recording software for their money.

If you want to buy professional music recording software that uses professionally recorded sound samples and not want to break the bank on Cubase or Pro Tools, then DubTurbo may be just what you are looking for.

DubTurbo doesn't require you to spend hours reading manuals as it comes with easy to follow video tutorials that can have you making your first beat in 20 minutes to an hour.  It also has loads of sound samples, effects and you can record on the fly using your computer keyboard as a synth or drum machine.

It is really a beat making software program but you can realistically make any genre of music from Reggae, House, Gabber, Hip-Hop, R&B, Jungle and more.

DubTurbo is compatible with most operating systems both Mac and PC but I would suggest using a computer with a 2.4 GHz processor and at least 512 MB of RAM to get the best out of it.

It has an intuitive interface and comprises many features which include a 16 track sequencer which allows you to drag and drop your audio around, record to a metronome, draw in your beats, full editing capability and you can export your masterpieces to red book CD standard.

The drum machine has over 40 kits in many genres to choose from and have been recorded in professional studios by quality musicians.  Again, you can draw or tap in your beats, edit, drag and drop and export.

The 4 octave keyboard is used for the melodies which allows you to do the same things as above but also quantize and comes with a selection of 1000's of sounds to choose from such as soft synths and effects.

There is also full technical support available.

This really is a great piece of software for the beginner but the experienced producer can also get use out of it as another tool to their box.  With the tutorials there is always something to learn.

Your Recording Studio Can Make Money

Your Recording Studio Can Make Money

Think back 20-30 years ago. Some of us weren't even alive then. Maybe that's why today's recording industry seems so normal. But trust me - this isn't the way it's always been. Things are changing for recording studios and for the music business. I'm not talking about Napster and the file-sharing crisis of a few years back. Actually I'm referring to home recording studios, which are having a huge impact on the big time studios in your town.

In the 1970s, what did a band do if they wanted to record an album? Or even just a demo? It was a difficult process, and unless you wanted to settle for absolute junk - you had to go to the big recording studios. They monopolized the music industry. Bands that could get into the studios were heard. A band that had no money, no label representation, and no fan base were screwed.

But home recording studios began to spring up more and more through the 1990s. And with advances in computer technology, anybody and everybody can own a nice little studio. The price tag today? A couple hundred bucks. And the quality of your recordings will not be too shabby. With a little practice, your home studio can churn out competitive tracks. And the music business doesn't like that fact. You are armed with a studio that can compete. And more bands are starting to hop onto the home studio trend.

Here's the interesting part: a home studio owner today has a unique opportunity to cash in on the industry. Labels are hemorrhaging money, unknown bands are getting famous through MySpace, and recording at home is becoming a profitable business. It's as simple as picking up the pizza boxes and beer bottles in your studio, bring in some local bands, and closing the deal. When you show a band what your home studio has to offer, and how much money they can save by avoiding a bigger studios, you will win the sale. You could record one band a week and have some extra pocket change to buy new gear. How many bands would you need to record before you made enough money to quit your day job? That's how powerful this new movement is, and I would encourage you to look at the possibilities.

Running this business is not difficult. There are some tricks of the trade, and you need to learn the ropes. But once you fill in a few pieces of the studio business blueprint, you're golden. Recording studio businesses are easy to manage, cheap to start, and best of all - this is the coolest job in the world.

Want to start a recording studio business and succeed right away? Here's how to start a recording studio that makes amazing profits by this weekend.

How to Make Money with Your Recording Studio

How to Make Money with Your Recording Studio

Make Recession-Proof Money with Your Recording Studio

For a lot of studio owners right now, it's hard to make ends meet.  With rent prices going up, and less people willing to splash out money on studio time, it's very hard to maintain a recording studio in today's society.

Built Your Recording Studio in Hard Times???

If you've built up your recording studio, it's cost you a lot of time and money. If you're renting space to hold your recording studio, it's going to keep costing you money!  How are you going to keep up with these costs?  How can you make a profit off of all the money that you invested??  You need to find out ways to make money with your recording studio AND FAST!!  But don't panic, that is where we're here to help!

You can watch the video at: http://urbanmusicschoolblog.com/how-to-make-money-with-your-recording-studio/

First of all, you need to make sure that the rent money for your recording studio is paid each month!  You want to get artists in to do recording sessions to pay for this.  You should try and get these sessions done at the beginning of the month so that they're out of the way.  You should undercut your competition to do this.  Maybe even do special offers for just the first week only to get your rent paid!  So then, you can concentrate on making PROFIT with your recording studio for the rest of the month.

Don't Undercut Yourself!

Do not undercut yourself too much; otherwise you will be working your socks off just to break even. It won't last! DON'T PRICE YOURSELF OUT OF THE GAME!!  You want to undercut your competition to a point but not past that point!  Your clientele want quality for a REASONABLE price.  If you feel you're being forced to lower your prices too much to get clientele, then you should probably have a look at your quality of service.  This doesn't necessarily mean investing money in your recording studio more; this could mean improving yourself as a sound engineer, improving your team members' skills, or even improving your hospitality.  But if other recording studios are clearly getting better sound than you, then invest in new equipment or software.

You want to try and create fluent clientele, so make sure you're versatile in all the music production services that you offer.  Do albums, EPs, demos, mix-tapes, radio adverts, voice-overs, music for film and music for television.  Anything to do with your recording studio, or your music production, you should offer it!  Just make sure you offer your music production services at a low price and with high-quality, and you'll get loads of clientele for your recording studio from all over the place AND MORE MONEY!!

You want to be professional and make the artist feel comfortable.  A lot of artists decide on which recording studio they go to
