Birdman And His Music Career
Born in February 15, 1969, Birdman, or Bryan Williams by birth name was from Uptown New Orleans. In 1991, Birdman and his brother Ronald "Slims" Williams created Cash Money Records. His first independent album "I Need A Baf Of Dope" was released in 1993, this was also his only independent album.
By 1997 he and Mannie Fresh came together to create Big Tymers. "How Ya Luv That?" was their debut mixtape album and came out in 1998. Then in 2000 they released "I Got That Work" mixtapes album and this Birdman mixtapes album created the hit singles, "Get Your Roll On", "#1 Stunna", "Hood Rich" and "Still Fly". In 2002 "Hood Rich" came out, followed by "Big Money Heavyweight" album in 2003. But, in 2004 the group split up.
"Birdman" was released in 2002 and was the Birdman's self titled mixtape album. "What Happened To That Boy" and "Do That" were singles that came from that album. After this Birdman mixtapes release, he appeared on the other singles. These included "Bounce Back" by Juvenile, "Let's Get Down" by Bow Wow and "Hell Yeah" by Ginuwine.
2005 saw the release of his third mixtapes album, titled "Fast Money", which created the singles "Get Your Shine On" and "Neck Of The Wood". These both had Lil Weezy in them and Birdman was on Lil Wayne's albums, "The Carter" and "The Carter II". Dwayne Carter and Birdman when on to release the mixtape album "Like Father, Like Son" and there were three singles that came from this album, "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" and "Leather So Soft". He went on to be featured on the singles "We Fly High" by Jim Jones and "Make It Rain" by Fat Joe.
2007 saw the release of his fourth album, titled "5*Stunna", with the singles, "Pop Bottles" with Weezy and Jadakiss, "100 Million" with Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Dr, and DJ Khaled and "I Run This" with Dwayne Carter. "Priceless" was released with the singles "Always Strapped" and "Written On Her" with Jay Sean. Unfortunately, 2007 was the year Birdman was arrested and charged with marijuana possession, but was released on bail. Later, "Southside", "Money To Blow" with Drake and "4 My Town (Play Ball)" with Drake became singles as well in 2009.
2010 saw the release of the "Bigger Than Life" with the single "Loyalty". Drake and Tyga were featured on this album. Birdman is looking to release an album with Rick Ross called "The H". The mixtape "Southside Gangster" was recently dropped by DJ 31 Degreez.
