A place for legendary music - and rising stars - historic landmarks, and pristine natural landscape just waiting to be explored, Nashville is an unforgettable city to visit for a week or a weekend. But with vacation budgets being tightened this summer, can you really experience all this city has to offer without breaking the bank? Yes! With many affordable Nashville Hotels most popular places to stretch your dollar, making the most of "Music City" on a budget is not only do-able, it's also easy. Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Although country music's roots are humble, this one-of-a-kind museum is a grand experience. Located on the west bank of the Cumberland River, near Ryman Auditorium and Lower Broadway's legendary honky-tonks, the Country Music Hall of Fame highlights the history of country music through artifacts, photos, original recordings, video, films and interactive exhibits. In addition, there's a Hall of Fame Rotunda, a rotating roster of special exhibits, the historic RCA Studio B, live performances and more. Depending on the ticket package you choose, admission is $ 22-$ 30 for adults and $ 15-$ 22 for youths.
Grand Ole Opry. Just minutes from many downtown Nashville Hotels the Grand Ole Opry provides country music fans with access to four unique entertainment venues, including the Grand Ole Opry House, the Acuff Theatre, the Opry Museum, and the Opry Plaza. Here, you can take in a show, see the inner workings of the Opry House, spend the day at the Opry Museum or catch a glimpse of historic images and artifacts from your country music heroes. (If you're lucky, you may even get to meet one of the legendary members of the Opry.) Admission prices vary depending upon events and activities selected.
Belle Meade Plantation. Take a break from the music for a few hours and spend some time steeped in the beauty and charm of Belle Meade Plantation. Set on an historic 30-acre site along the Natchez Trace, the plantation was once the country's premier Thoroughbred breeding grounds. In addition to the mansion, which was built in 1853, guests can also tour the plantation's 1890 Carriage House and Stable, as well as the 1790 Log Cabin, which is one of the oldest in Tennessee. Radnor Lake State Park. Just minutes from the heart of Nashville, Radnor Lake State Park is a 1,200+ acre nature preserve where hikers can take one of four unpaved trails, and one paved trail, through the woods surrounding the lake. Along the way, visitors can see wildlife ranging from river otters and beavers to geese, herons, mink and white-tailed deer. The Contribution of Parachute Band to Christian Music
Christian music helped to spread the Gospel to all continents of the world. In the present context, it helps fill the hearts of the believers with joy, hope and salvation. Christian music bands exist all over the world, but some have made their mark both as stage performers and producers of impeccable music albums. The name of Parachute band of New Zealand rushes into our mind when we think of Christian Music.
Parachute Band got its name from the annual Parachute Festival of New Zealand. The band came into existence in 1995 when Parachute Music, a Christian organization of New Zealand, brought together five leading musicians of that time to lead the worship services during the festivities. It is diversified from just a stage-performing group and started collecting and composing Christian songs and making albums out of them.
The original members left in 2006 making way for a youthful group of musicians. The band has reached unprecedented growth levels during the post 2006 period. But I do not mean that the first stage was inferior in any way. In fact, the pre-2006 musicians made the it famous across all the continents. The new bunch is building upon what the older members did.
The band has become famous through their mind blowing but meaningful songs. These songs are not only good to be played at churches, but can be listened to in the privacy of your bedroom, car or anywhere you like. After all, faith is a matter that is close to everyone's heart. Listening to Parachute music can instill love for god, faith, charity and peace.
Parachute Band has stuck to gospels and scriptures while composing songs while many other bands have strayed for making easy money. Money is only a secondary thing here. The most important self-professed duty of the band is to spread the message of joy and harmony. This is the reason why the band is being invited all over the world to do stage performances and lead worship services at the most prominent churches of US and Europe.
The group has so far produced eleven albums and I am sure that more are on the anvil. The present set of musicians has brought out three albums, Technicolor, Roadmaps and Revelations and Losing Sleep. It has the expertise and infrastructure to play before huge crowds. Youngsters and old timers equally enjoy the guitar-based songs of the band for both its musical quality as well as the content.
The efforts of Parachute Band to promote the Gospel through its songs have not gone unnoticed. The number of awards and positions won by the band testifies this fact. Some of its songs remained at the top echelons of US music charts for long periods. It has been awarded Peoples Choice award of 2008 and three New Zealand Music Awards. There are many more to mention, but the band is not resting on its laurels.

Juggalo Music for Four Days? Psychopathic Records? Big Music Fest
Yes, as the title would imply, I’m referring to Psychopathic Records’ annual Gathering of the Juggalos. It is one of several big music fests that takes place across the country during months when the cold doesn’t force all outdoor music listening inside, but it is the only big music fest that is geared specifically towards Juggalo music. Juggalo music, to be more specific, falls into the genre of horror rap for the most part, which just so happens to be the genre of music that Psychopathic Records’ specializes in.
However, even when you take away the Juggalo music factor, there are many elements to Psychopathic Records’ big music fest that make it more appealing than the dozens of other big music fests that happen each and every year. Continue reading to see the most important.
Many refer to Bonnaroo music and arts festival as the granddaddy of the big music fest resurgence, as it stepped up to fill the music festival void in the late 90s, and has been legendary ever since. A similar but lesser argument can be made for Coachella, Lollapalooza, etc., but even though it’s fun to enjoy all the most popular bands in an enormous setting with thousands of other people, none will never be able to emulate the family vibe that Psychopathic Records’ big music fest has going for it.
In fact, it’s probably safe to say that this family vibe created by Juggalos coming together for Juggalo music at Psychopathic Records’ GOTJ will never be mimicked elsewhere for the simple fact that music at other big music fests is too diverse. Juggalo music, as it is so kindly labeled, is branded with that title for a reason – Juggalos can connect with it, and appreciate listening to it in each other’s company.
The big music fests listed above are large and in charge simply because of the artists they book. Almost all are mainstream entities, and it’s probably safe to say that you’ll never see a Psychopathic Records artist in any of those lineups. However, the same cannot be said with utmost confidence in the reverse scenario.
How does that make sense? Why is it that popular artists Bobby Brown or Vanilla Ice that has nothing to do with Juggalo music or Psychopathic Records would be included at the GOTJ big music fest?
The answer lies in the inaudible: because these musicians embody the same mainstream misunderstanding that
