Mixing Guilt With Religion

Most religions claim to center around love and compassion. Some of these Gods can be extremely generous but they can also provide you with a lot of pain. The whole idea and basic concept of most religions, revolves around pain and pleasure.

The minute that you start to mix guilt with religion, you're starting to walk down a path, that you believe will provide you with a better life, but sometimes, it can lead some people to live a very destructive lifestyle. Whenever I hear the word guilt with religion, I often associated with pain.

How many people really belong to their religion of choice, because they know that it is a loving and compassionate religion? There isn't any doubt in their mind, that this religion is based on love and interested in helping other people to create a more joyous and wonderful life.

I understand, that there is plenty of love and compassion provided by plenty of religions all over the world, but my problem is the amount of guilt that some of them use to motivate their followers.

I have heard religious leaders make their followers feel guilty, because they're not doing enough for others within their religious community. Some of these religious leaders, referred to payments that will need to be made, before they can enter the kingdom of God. These payments are often financial burdens on some families and it doesn't seem to make a difference to the church leaders.

Think about this, the next time that you visit your church or listen to a sermon over the radio, is there anything that they're saying that might make you feel guilty or obligated to respond to a certain event.

The sad thing about guilt, is that it is used everywhere, by almost everyone on a daily basis. Large religious organizations aren't any different. If they need money, they can use guilt. If they need help, they can make people feel guilty. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Don't forget, that you can always switch churches, if guilt starts to get a little out of hand.

One of my predictions is that the new middle class of the world in a generation or two ahead will be in India while the current middle classes of the traditional western world will diminish. Create or disintegrate. This will naturally represent a major shift in the world economies. The western world does not perceive this as threat and is fairly relaxed about its coming for some currently obvious reasons.

There is never an either or - there is abundance - but it is hard the get the "majority" to understand that. In short this means that the rise of India does not have to be at the cost of a western decline, as traditionally has been the case or perception, it is actually an important point this does not happen. But the keyword for both parties is change. Successful change.

There are three elements for successful change.

Market
The world has seen a revolutionary change in communication over the last 15 years. IT, the Internet, and telecom have all changed the world and world market dramatically for the better. (To the extent it has changed it for the worse that is the responsibility of the individual.) These days you can live anywhere and have clients all over the world. Physical presence is not a necessity anymore. As a supplier it is easier to reach a critical mass often needed to succeed. The cost to reach the market is I many instances lower than it used to be and it opens up for successful niches.

Technology has changed the market place, and most importantly changed both the perception of what a small business can achieve and what it actually represents. It is not synonymous with the small business serving the local community any more.

Further enabled small business to enter a much bigger market place without being constantly beaten by big corporations that actually struggle with the new market situation and as such are dependent upon small and specialized vendors to survive.

Skills

India has a tradition for high education, trading skills and being industrious people, and can of course benefit further from this by giving a bigger part of the population the opportunity to take part. This will no doubt represent a challenge for the establishment as it inflicts with conventional wisdom but would greatly benefit the country if implemented.

India has grown into the call center and support center of the world, which would never have happened if the education and skill set had not been on the level it is. India has in its culture service and takes great pride in delivering quality which are two major factors why the above have become reality.

Mindset

But there is also a very definite danger in this and the main reason why the western world is so laid back regarding the rise of India as a real industrial power. This is the mindset. Conventional wisdom is way too dominant to create any major change in a country actually having the skills to do it.

Nanotechnology has worked its way into the field of processing.  Nanoparticles are defined as units of substance that maintain that substance's properties that exist between 100 and 2500 nanometers.  Particles smaller than this are considered "ultrafine," while particles that lose the original substance's properties would simply be considered another material altogether.  While seeds of nanoparticle research date back a millennia, most of the great advancements have taken place within the last century.  Scientists are especially intrigued by nanoparticles as a "missing link" between viewable materials and their atomic or even subatomic structures.  The output of this research has made its way into the processing industry, with some of the benefits being felt immediately.

 

For example, in the medical industry, the processing of nanoparticles is allowing for the mass production of multiple drugs that once was deemed impossible or too difficult or time consuming to be deemed of any value.  Breaking down materials to the nanoparticle level increases the overall surface area of a material for a given size (compared to if the material were intact) which makes it more soluble or dissolvable in water and other liquids.  This allows manufactures to fit more substances into a given product or create new compounds at the nanoparticle level.  This could be done before modern day nanoparticle research, but was a painstaking process that had to be done individually for each product.  By increasing the efficiency for producing a given product, costs are made more manageable and we see the production of certain materials that simply was not feasible for previous manufacturers.

 

Nanoparticle processing is not without its challenges.  The obvious issues lie with managing and developing materials that are, for the most part, invisible to the naked eye.  But, for producers, one of the greatest challenges is posed with mixing nanoparticles for the product.  Certain types of mixers can lead to contamination or an uneven mix.  Ensuring a that the particles are mixed evenly is key for any type of manufactured product, but with nanoparticles, simply viewing the mixture after the fact will likely prove to be insufficient, so ensuring a proper mixture from the get go is key.

 

With this in mind, planetary mixers have proven to be very effective for the mixture of nanoparticles for industries that require their processing.  Often used for creating pastes, planetary mixers have proven effective for mixing nanoparticles evenly across a variety of process sizes (up to 750 gallons in practice).  Planetary mixers typically come in two varieties, single arm and double arm.  These arms extend through the containment unit with smaller perpendicular arms extending out from the main arm.  The overall effect is that virtually the entire product is subject to mixing at all times within the
