May 14, 2016byShawn Dady in Sunset Blvd. Studios Blog | Comments Off on We took the extra mile again for this one. Working with these people made me realize something, never be downed with the idea that your work is too much or that your dream is too far. Lazy was not on the list, and their work ethic is beyond solid. Looking forward to the end result, and thank you so much for the inspiring process.
December 25, 2015byShawn Dady in Sunset Blvd. Studios Blog | Comments Off on Being a car enthusiast is great and it’s fun to look at supercars and imagine driving them. But how many of us actually believe that we’ll actually own one someday? I can tell you right now, you won’t be able to get your hands on one of these working for someone else. You have to be your own boss and make your own money. My friend Daniel (aka @Rich20Something) is a master at helping people go from “no idea” to starting a profitable business. Check out him out and make sure to grab his free mini course, too — @Rich20Something

December 30, 2014byShawn Dady in Sunset Blvd. Studios Blog | Comments Off on 11 days ago we made a mad dash out of town to be with family. The following day, my sweet father-in-law, Bob, was admitted to the hospital, and 3 days ago he passed away. If it seems our posts have not been our usual over the past couple of weeks, it’s because our life hasn’t been it’s usual. It’s been hard. Really freaking hard. And confusing and scary and gut wrenching and heart breaking. But I was also told that upon being admitted to the hospital, he was quick to ask the nurses if they’d seen that little girl on CBS earlier in the week … then proudly announced that was HIS granddaughter :) The very next day, Mayhem and I sat in our car in the hospital parking lot decorating paper Christmas trees for his room. And even though she couldn’t go in to visit with him, I’m thankful for the magic of technology that allowed her to be able to FaceTime with him one last time and show him that she was taking excellent care of his dog. The past couple of weeks have been especially brutal on my husband, his mother and his sister. So if you have a prayer, healing thought or good vibe to spare, I’d ask you to send one their way. We’ve got a long road ahead of us to heal from such an incredible and unexpected loss, but we know that smiling and laughing are big keys to our own healing and he’d want us to do as much of that as possible. Thanks for all the love you send our way – you have no idea how many of your comments and emails over the past two weeks have given me the strength I needed (especially on Mayhem’s birthday!) We’re so grateful for you!!!
