Spicy Paprika & Lime Chicken . Made by @eatdrinkpaleo Check her blog . Please allow 1 hour to marinate the chicken. Ingredients 900g (about 2lbs) chicken tenderloins Coconut oil for frying For the marinade 5 tsps sweet paprika 1 tsp cayenne pepper or chill powder 1½ tsp Celtic salt or sea salt 1 tsp Allspice (optional but very nice) 1 tsp coriander seeds powder (you can grind coriander seeds with mortar & pestle) 1 tsp black pepper 3 tbsps olive oil 2 garlic cloves, finely diced 2 tsps tomato paste/puree 2 limes (zest + juice from one lime for the marinade and juice from the second when serving) Instructions Mix all marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Rinse the chicken and cut larger pieces in half keeping. Using your hands, rub the pieces of chicken with the marinade. Leave in the bowl, wrap with cling wrap and set aside for at least one hour before grilling..in the fridge. If using a grill plate or a frying pan on your stove, heat one teaspoon of coconut oil until sizzling hot. Fry chicken pieces for 4 minutes on each side and then remove to a plate to rest. Make sure not to overcrowd the frying pan or you will end up with too much meat juice and you will end up with stewed rather than grilled chicken. If using a BBQ, heat the plate to sizzling hot and either spray with olive oil or brush with coconut oil. Place chicken pieces on the plate with a little space in between and cook for 4 minutes on each side on medium/high heat with the lid on. Remove cooked chicken to a serving plate and drizzle with lime juice before serving. . Serves: 5-6 Prep time: 10 mins Cook time: 15 mins Total time: 25 mins

Mixing Ingredients for Muffins

Mixing Ingredients for Muffins

Making muffins is definitely a easy thing to do. It is one of few kitchen activities that parents can take part in with their children and have a good time. The wonderful aspect about muffins is because they can be an excellent breakfast snack or even a wonderful treat anytime for fun on saturday. There are a variety of methods to utilize that will enable you to bake perfect muffins on every attempt.

Just about the most vital principles to remember is you should carefully watch the method that you mix muffin ingredients together. This allows you to have a better tasting muffin.

Start with a container for mixing muffins ingredients

For the greatest results from combining ingredients together, it's always best to utilize a sturdy bowl. Larger bowls allow you to stir the ingredients better without worry about spilling any of the mix or even the bowl tilting. The ideal bowls can easily accommodate all of the ingredients and have space in the bowl.

Create an opening in dry muffin ingredients

Prior to adding wet ingredients, it would a great idea to sift the batter’s ingredients and stir them together. Your hand can be used to make a hole in the heart of the dry ingredients. Before adding in any wet ingredients, it is a good idea to sift all ingredients for your batter and toss together. You can then use your hand to create a hole right in the middle of the dry ingredients. Visualize the quantity of space that you’ll need to easily fit into the wet ingredients after which empty them into the center.

Fold, don’t stir

An alternative choice to mix all of the ingredients up is folding; a technique that lets you utilize all of the ingredients. The theory is simple: you want the dry and wet ingredients to get together without overworking the batter. Greater you work the batter, the tougher the muffins is going to be.

You shouldn’t use a stand mixer

A lot of people may want to use a stand mixer to shed a few minutes. Unfortunately, the power of the mixer will overwork the batter pretty fast when mixing muffins. It will be much simpler to use your hands to produce the perfect mixture.

Put in the fruits and/or nuts later

You shouldn’t toss in the fruits and nuts early in the muffin making process, instead insert them in when you’re about halfway completed with mixing muffins. The flour that is present on the fruits and nuts will be washed off if you put them in too soon. Putting them in too late will give you an uneven distribution.
